The Miami Dolphins, and the rest of the NFL, can begin building their eight man practice squads as soon as players officially clear waivers. For the Dolphins, one player they are targeting, according to the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson, is wide receiver Brian Tyms.
Tyms spent last season on the practice squad for the Dolphins as well, after a brief stint with the San Francisco 49ers. Tyms played college football at Florida A&M, but has only been playing football for four years, starting as a senior in high school. Previously, he had only played basketball.
Earlier today, the Miami Herald's Adam Beasley reported defensive tackle A.J. Francis would also be a member of the Dolphins' practice squad.
