Dolphins at Jaguars: Joe Philbin comments as third quarter begins

Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin spent a couple of minutes talking to Kim Bokamper before the start of the second half against the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

At the start of the third quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight, Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin stopped to talk to WFOR's Kim Bokamper.  Here are his comments:

(On the 1st quarter drive which ended with a 22-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill to Dustin Keller) -

"Offensively we got off to a slow start honestly, but got it going there and put together a nice drive. Our defense played well initially and has kept them out of the endzone, even though we gave up a bunch of yards on a long drive, we kept them out of the endzone."

(On the first half turnovers and the importance of winning the turnover battle) -

"We just talked about it at halftime, unfortunately we were on our way to get in another score and we gave the ball away. So it's an even game in terms of the turnover margin. (Winning the turnover battle) was the one thing I told you before the game we (have) got to win and we have to do that in the second half."
