Question Marks:
- Receivers - The top five offensive weapons from last year are either gone, or could miss time due to injury. Aaron Hernandez is in jail, Wes Welker is in Denver, Danny Woodhead is in San Diego, and Brandon Lloyd is a free agent. Meanwhile, Rob Gronkowski is trying to return after four surgeries on his twice broken arm and a back surgery. While the Patriots still have Tom Brady, to whom he will be able to throw the ball will be a question mark for a while.
- Hernandez - As much as the team is trying to put Hernandez' murder charges behind them, every time anything happens in the case, the questions will come to members of the Patriots. How well they handle it could be key for the season.
- Tebow time - Everyone said the best place Tim Tebow could go is to New England, where they have an established QB and a coach who will work with him. That's exactly what has happened now. Will Tebow's presence be a distraction at any point, or could the 'Patriot Way" actually outweigh Tebow Time?
