Coaching Changes

The Bills fired head coach Chan Gailey at the end of the 2012 season. They hired Doug Marrone from Syracuse as their head coach. Nathaniel Hackett and Mike Pettine were added as the offensive and defensive coorinators, respectively.

Question Marks:

  • Quarterback - After releasing Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Bills signed Kevin Kolb and drafted E.J. Manuel. Who ends up winning the starting position is completely up in the air, and how that person will do throughout the season is anyone's guess.
  • Offensive line - Even if the Bills manage to get decent quarterback play, their offensive line, and in particular their interior line, could be a mess. Andy Levitre left for greener pastures with the Tennessee Titans, and with him, a good offensive line in 2012 got much weaker.
