The Miami Dolphins dropped their second game of the preseason Saturday night, losing 24-17 to the Houston Texans. The Dolphins had 83 different players take at least a snap during the game. And, thanks to NFLGSIS.com, we have the exact snap counts for each of those players.
Before we get to who did play, the Dolphins had seven players not play. There were: quarterback Pat Devlin, safety Keelan Johnson, guard John Jerry, guard Nate Garner, tight end Kyle Miller, defensive tackle Randy Starks, and defensive end Dion Jordan.

Really, there's not a lot of surprising things in the third preseason game's snap counts. Clearly, the Dolphins had a goal in first team snaps, for both the offense and defense, as you can see exactly when the starters left the field in one giant package change.
It was good to see Jamar Taylor make his professional debut. I am a little surprised at how few snaps Jorvorskie Lane and Chad Bumphis got during the game. Could be a sign that their roster spots are really starting to slip away.
What stood out to you?
