Miami Dolphins snap count from Jacksonville Jaguars game

The Miami Dolphins beat the Jacksonville Jaguars last night 27-3. Today, we take a look at the snap counts for every Dolphins player.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Dolphins have completed their second preseason game of the 2013 schedule, coming away from the Jacksonville Jaguars with a 27-3 victory.  Thanks to NFLGSIS.com, we have a game book with the individual snap counts for each NFL player.  Last year, we took at look at the snap counts for each player throughout the regular season.  However, it's the preseason where snap counts really can make a different.

Most of the Dolphins' roster played at least a snap last night.  The players for Miami who did not player were kicker Dan Carpenter, wide receiver Rishard Matthews, cornerback Jamar Taylor, guard Lance Louis, guard Jeff Braun, guard John Jerry, tight end Kyle Miller, and defensive tackle Randy Starks.

Offensive lineman Josh Samuda led the offense in snaps, working with both the first and second team offensive lines.  Emeka Onyenekwu, meanwhile, led the defense, taking 46 snaps.

A player who only took two special teams snaps on the day was running back Marcus Thigpen.  I am beginning to wonder if the team just does not want to put anything about the team's kick returner on film with the offense.

Here is the entire list of players and the snaps they took:
