It just keeps getting better for Aaron Hernandez.
The Boston Globe's Ben Volin this morning confirmed that the former Patriots tight end is now being investigated in connection with a July 2012 double murder that occurred in Boston. The news of the investigation comes just one day after Hernandez was charged with the first-degree murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, a semi-pro football player.
According to ProFootballTalk, the incident report states that local police found three shooting victims at the intersection of Shawmut Avenue and Herald Street in Boston at 2 a.m. on July 16, 2012. Two of the victims, Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu, died. Per the report, witnesses said persons in a gray or silver SUV with Rhode Island license plates opened fire.
In addition to first-degree murder, Hernandez was also charged with one count of carrying a firearm without a license, two counts of possessing a large-capacity firearm, and two counts of possessing a firearm without a firearm ID card.
