This is one of our nightly live threads. This means that you are welcome to discuss any subject that you wish but in keeping with the rules of the site we ask that you refrain from the discussion of politics and religion. Please remember that this thread takes place on the front page of the site, is not a CKC and as such try to keep things as near to PG as possible. Keep this in mind with the posting of pics as well and we ask that you keep them to a maximum of 5 per person and do not post Gifs. This keeps the thread load time from slowing down for those on slower connections.
This is the thirty-third post in a series of top 100 "debut" albums of all time. AKA the best first album of some of the best artist of all time. Like previously stated I will be skipping over a few selections along the way to save us from the obvious pain of listening to some crap. Tonight I will jump all the way up to number 22. Tonight's selection is from a band that I listed to a ton of way back in my jr high days. In the mist of much surfer/skater punk of the time mostly from So. Cal. came these three guys from Milwaukee. With little more the an acoustic guitar, stand up bass and snare drum they made one of the most memorable and popular albums of the 80's. Of course we are talking of 1983's self titled debut from the Violent Femmes.
