The build up to the NFL Draft every year features a never ending supply of mock drafts and fan bandwagons. The big name players suddenly become the one player a fan has to see land with their team, and if they do not, it will be the end of the world. Meanwhile, NFL teams are taking a longer look at prospects they have on their big board, with up to 30 of those players heading to the team's facility for a private workout or to participate in the team's "local prospect day."
This year, the Miami Dolphins have done a good job in keeping quiet the prospects that they have seen, or have scheduled to see. However, some of the names have come out through various media sources.
These don't include contact at a player's Pro Day (such as DL Star Lotulelei), the combine (OT Lane Johnson, TE Travis Kelce), or interviews/phone conversations.
Here's a look at what is known so far (via the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson, the Palm Beach Post's Ben Volin, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, ESPN's James Walker, and Walter Football):
Visits (Some of these could be Prospect Day workouts, but I cannot confirm so I listed them as visits):
