Which AFC East player (not named Tom Brady) would you want on the Dolphins roster?

If you could take any AFC East player, other than Tom Brady, and put him on the Miami Dolphins' roster who would it be?

Jared Wickerham

Yesterday, we asked that question on Twitter and Facebook, looking to see who you would like to see brought over to the Miami Dolphins' roster. With the limitation of no Tom Brady, I assumed New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revise would run away with this. However, not only did he not do that, he actually didn't even win it. Instead, 34% of the responses would rather see New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski land with Miami.

Revis was second with 27% of the responses, while the Buffalo Bills' C.J. Spiller took third with 13%. Vince Wilfork (5%), Mario Williams (5%), Aaron Hernandez (5%), Jerod Mayo (3%), Tim Tebow (2%), Stephon Gilmore (2%), Logan Mankins (2%), Jarius Byrd (2%), and Mark Sanchez (2%) all also received votes.

Here's a look at some of the responses:

Our friends over at SB Nation's Bills blog, Buffalo Rumblings, had an answer for us. Sorry, guys, I just don't see that as a viable answer. Thanks for trying though!

Gronkowski:

Revis:

Spiller:

(Is that both Gronkowski and Hernandez? That would be one talented player.)

I was kind of surprised there weren't a few more for Byrd. This tweet explains why the best.)

What do you think. Is Gronk the right person to add? Or should it have been Revis? Spiller? Let us know in the comments below.
