Needs:
The Dolphins still need to address the tackle position, either moving Jonathan Martin back to left tackle with a veteran signing or dropping Nate Garner back into his utility reserve role with a veteran signing or a rookie draft pick. The team can still use the addition of a wide receiver and/or a tight end to continue to build weapons around Ryan Tannehill. A running back later in the draft is not out of the picture either.
Notes:
I am still listing Lance Louis behind John Jerry due to injury. If Luis is healthy come training camp, I expect him to move ahead of Jerry. I am also thinking more and more of moving Marcus Thigpen out of the running back depth chart and into the receiver corps.

Needs:
Well, defensive end is off the needs list now. Miami still needs to address the cornerback position, and the addition of a safety would not be bad. Anything else is purely depth at this point.
Notes:
Rumors have Koa Misi moving into the middle linebacker slot, with Dannell Ellerbe and Philip Wheeler on the outside. The move makes some sense. I have the newly drafted Dion Jordan behind Jared Odrick on the defensive line right now. Jeff Ireland pointed out that it takes time for a player to develop into an every down player, with situational use making sense until that happens. Odrick has slimmed down to hold on to the defensive end position. Jordan will see plenty of playing time, and could move ahead of Odrick at some point, but for now, I have the veteran holding onto the spot.

Needs:
Don't be surprised if Miami uses a late round pick on a kicker. Dan Carpenter got better as the year progressed last season, but could use the competition in camp.
Notes:
The signing of Scales was an interesting move. He's most likely not going to make the team - at least not as a long snapper - but could push Pro Bowler John Denney.
