In the rumored trade that will never end, the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs are once again discussing a possible move to send offensive tackle Branden Albert to Miami. The move would free up the Chiefs' left tackle position for their assumed first overall pick Luke Joeckel, as well as fill the Dolphins' biggest need heading into next week's draft.

The Chiefs placed the franchise tag on Albert this offseason, preventing him from hitting the free agency market. However, the Chiefs are thought to have been looking to trade Albert as soon as he signed the franchise tender.

According to NFL.com's Ian Rappoport, the Dolphins have expressed interest in Albert. The Chiefs are thought to want a second round pick in return for the former first round draft pick. The Dolphins currently have two picks, the 42 and 54 overall selections, in the second round.

Earlier this month, Joel Thorman from Arrowhead Pride and I discussed the possibility of a Albert trade.
