Monday Night Random Live Thread

Mike Ehrmann

This is one of our nightly live threads. This means that you are welcome to discuss any subject that you wish but in keeping with the rules of the site we ask that you refrain from the discussion of politics and religion. Please remember that this thread takes place on the front page of the site, is not a CKC and as such try to keep things as near to PG as possible. Keep this in mind with the posting of pics as well and we ask that you keep them to a maximum of 5 per person and do not post Gifs. This keeps the thread load time from slowing down for those on slower connections.

This is the fifteenth post in a series of top 100 "debut" albums of all time. AKA the best first album of some of the best artist of all time. Like previously stated I will be skipping over a few selections along the way to save us from the obvious pain of listening to some crap. Tonight I leapfrog all the way down to number 54. 1983 saw the release of the debut album by Metallica "Kill Em' All". I have always had a mixed opinion on Metallica but they for sure if nothing else distinguished themselves from the other band's of the time that were mostly (but not all) terrible hair metal bands. They looked nothing like those men dressing up in the finest of women's clothing at the time. It always reminded me more of what my head banger/stoner friends would have made in their garage if they had been talented enough to do so...
