Free agent wide receiver Brandon Gibson has arrived for a visit with the Miami Dolphins. Gibson spent the last day and a half with the New York Jets, but left without a deal. The Dolphins will look to add him to a wide receiving corps that includes the newly signed Mike Wallace with incumbents Brian Hartline and Davone Bess.

Gibson spent the last four seasons with the St. Louis Rams, joining the team after appearing in one game with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009. He has 174 receptions for 2,090 yards and nine touchdowns over that time.

The Dolphins are getting younger this offseason, and a move to grab the 25-year-old Gibson fits in with that concept. The team has also signed linebackers Dannell Ellerbe and Philip Wheeler this year, and is currently in talks with tight end Dustin Keller, who visited with the team yesterday and today, though no word on a deal has been released.
