Say hello to 'The General'

The Phinsider's video review of 2013 NFL Draft prospects continues with a look at one of the fastest-rising prospects in this year's receiver class: Louisiana Tech's Quinton Patton.

"When you, here--everyone of you--were kids, you all admired the champion marble player, the fastest runner, the toughest boxer, the big-league ball players, and the All-American football players. Americans love a winner. Americans will not tolerate a loser. Americans despise cowards."

Gen. George S. Patton

June 5, 1944

Actions speak louder than words, which is why we're following up our "Hitchhiker's guide to the 2013 receiver class" with video of Louisiana Tech receiver Quinton Patton going upside Texas A&M's head last October. Patton, as you may know, is ranked No. 2 on my list of 2013 receivers who best fit what the Dolphins are looking for at the position, and this video largely exemplifies what Patton is about as a wideout: great hands and sharp routes, as well as the leadership and ability to take over games when necessary (no small feat when you play for Louisiana Tech). As always, peep the video and then let us know what you think in the comment section.

Also, Patton's nickname is "The General," which is why the original Gen. Patton is quoted at the beginning of this article. This time of year, it's all about creativity, folks.
