Utah defensive tackle Star Lotulelei has had to pull out of the 2013 NFL Combine, according to a report from ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Doctors discovered a heart condition during Lotulelei's physical after he reported to the combine.

According to Mortensen, an echocardiogram revealed that Lotulelei's left ventricle is only pumping at 44% efficiency. The normal efficiency rate is a between 55- and 77-percent. Lotulelei will return to Salt Lake City for further testing this week.

The 6', 3", 311 pound defensive tackle is still interviewing with teams interested in him, and his agent expects him to participate in Utah's Pro Day March 20.

How this will impact his draft stock will be seen, but Lotulelei has been projected as a top five pick heading into the combine. He will have to receive pull clearance from his doctors, with teams having to clear him as well, before any one uses a high draft pick on the Ute.
