Both the Ravens and Lions sit at 7 and 6 going in to tonight’s game and both are trying to position themselves for a playoff berth with a victory this evening. The Ravens currently hold the final and 6th playoff spot in the AFC via the tiebreaker with the Dolphins but will lose their position with a loss this evening. The Ravens enter the evening on a surge having won their last three games including close wins over the Steelers and Vikings and a 19-3 drubbing of the woeful Jets and their even more woeful quarterback Geno Smith. The Lions on the other hand started out the season strong only to drop 3 of their last four with the one exception a Thanksgiving day victory over the Green Bay Packers, who without Aaron Rodgers have had a difficult time beating anyone of note.
