The Miami Dolphins head north to face the New York Jets today. Luckily for the South Florida franchise, the weather is not going to be that bad in New Jersey today.

The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets renew their hatred for each other with the 96th meeting between the two AFC East franchises. For the Dolphins, heading north to East Rutherford, New Jersey in December has the potential for the weather to get ugly, but it looks like Miami will be spared anything too extreme today.

At kickoff, the forecast calls for a partly cloudy sky, with just a 10-percent chance for precipitation. It's expected to be 44-degrees, with a very slight wind. While it's going to be cold, it will be pretty mild and it could be a lot worse.

Around the rest of the AFC East, the Buffalo Bills will be hosting the Atlanta Falcons in Orchard Park, New York, where it will be 37-degrees with a possibility of rain late in the game, while the New England Patriots will be visiting the Houston Texans, where it will be 71-degrees at kickoff.

The Dolphins at Jets game and the Patriots at Texans contest kickoff at 1pm ET. The Falcons at Bills game begins at 4:05pm ET.
