The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets renew their AFC East rivalry today with a Week 13 contest. This is the first of the two-game series between the teams, with the second half coming in the final week of the season. Both the Dolphins and Jets are 5-6 on the season, and a half-game behind the Baltimore Ravens for the final AFC Playoff position. A win today not only moves the victor into a tie for that spot, it gives them the tiebreaker over, all-but-ending any playoff hopes for, the loser.
The Jets are one point favorites for the game.
