The Miami Dolphins have taken a 7-3 lead on the Carolina Panthers at the end of the first quarter. Miami's defense has been dominating the Panthers' offensive line, with Cameron Wake pressuring or hitting Cam Newton on nearly every pass attempt.
The highlight, so far, is the 53-yard bomb from Ryan Tannehill to Mike Wallace for the lone touchdown - and the first touchdown allowed in the first quarter this season by the Panthers. The ball was under-thrown as Tannehill rolled to his right and did not set his feet, but Wallace corrected and came back for it.
