The Miami Dolphins have moved themselves into a tie for the sixth spot in the AFC, right in the middle of the conference's Playoff race. Normally, we take a full look at the Playoff standings on Tuesday, and we will again tomorrow once tonight's Monday Night Football game featuring the New England Patriots is complete, but as of right now, here's a quick look at the postseason as of right now.

With their win over the previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos jumped from the fifth seed into the top spot in the AFC, sending the Chiefs to the top Wildcard slot, with both AFC West teams having identical 9-1 records.

The New England Patriots have the second spot right now with a 7-2 record. If they beat the Carolina Panthers tonight, they will obviously stay in that spot, one game behind the Broncos for the home-field advantage . With a loss, they will slide down to the third spot, with the Indianapolis Colts moving into the second position, thanks to a better conference record.

After the 7-2 Colts, the AFC North leading Cincinnati Bengals are currently in the fourth position, followed by the Chiefs in the fifth spot.

The AFC East's second place team, the New York Jets, claim the final playoff spot in the AFC, as of right now, with a 5-5 record. They get the nod over their AFC East rival Dolphins thanks to a 2-2 record in the division, compared to Miami's 0-2. However, the teams have two head-to-head games still to play, which could go a long way to deciding the final Wildcard position.

Behind Miami, there are six teams at 4-6, with the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, and San Diego Chargers all looking to try to climb back into the picture. Another half game back has the Buffalo Bills sitting in the 14th spot in the conference at 4-7.

Finally, the Houston Texans are 2-8 and in the 15th position, while the now 1-9 Jacksonville Jaguars are at the bottom of the conference with a 1-9 record.

We will take a full look at the AFC Playoff picture again tomorrow.
