Sunday night's game is sure to be the game of the week in most people's minds. It of course pits the NFL's only unbeaten team, The Kansas City Cheifs, take on what many consider the be the best team in the NFL, the 8 and 1 Denver Broncos. The Broncos come in to the night with their star quarterback, Peyton Manning still nursing a sore ankle that he injured at the end of last weeks game that saw the Broncos defeat the Chargers 28-20. After struggling to protect Manning against the Chargers defense things do not look to get any easier this week. Kansas City currently leads the NFL with 36 sacks.
The Chiefs are coming off a bye week and also dealing with an arrest to their star wide-out Dwayne Bowe. Bowe was arrested last Sunday after being pulled over for speeding for possession of marijuana. Further hurting his case that he had not been smoking the weed previous to the arrest was the fact that he asked the police officers before the arrest if Sonic was still open. The Chiefs have reached this point in the season by playing smothering defense to the point that the defense has scored more points in some games then their otherwise pedestrian offense. This week will be their toughest test to date as Manning continues his relentless march through the year, no doubt with a goal of destroying every single season QB record in the book.
