Jonathan Martin has gone missing from Miami Dolphins practice this week after becoming upset during an incident in the team cafeteria, Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports. Pro Football Talk relayed the story, and said that Martin smashed a food tray and stormed away after teammates jokingly said that they wouldn't sit with the left tackle. Martin reportedly has not been seen by the team since.
Martin is currently listed as doubtful for Thursday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals due to "illness." According to NFL.com's Jeff Darlington, Martin is currently seeking mental counseling after what a teammate called an "emotional breakdown." Glazer reportedly said that rumors saying the lineman had a confrontation with the Dolphins' coaching staff are incorrect.
More on Jonathan Martin, his incident this week was basically final straw for him. He's in treatment facility trying to work thru it

Martin took over the starting left tackle position for the Dolphins this season after the team allowed former No. 1 overall pick Jake Long to walk away in free agency. Martin and the rest of the Dolphins' line have struggled mightily to protect quarterback Ryan Tannehill. The team has given up 32 sacks this season, which is the most in the NFL.
