The NFL trade deadline is 4pm ET today. Will we see any deals completed today? Will any of those include the Miami Dolphins, who are suddenly in need of a wide receiver after Brandon Gibson's season ending patella tendon tear?
There are several wide receivers potentially on the market, today, but would likely cost draft picks, something the Dolphins do not like to spend. General manager Jeff Ireland already made one deal this year, sending a conditional late round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for tackle Bryant McKinnie. Would he make another?
Rumors have repeatedly had the New York Giants' Hakeem Nicks, Cleveland Browns' Josh Gordon, Tennessee Titans' Kenny Britt, and Arizona Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald all available. What the compensation for grabbing one of these, or several other potential targets, is going to be what decides if the Dolphins can make a move.
What do you think? Do the Dolphins make a trade today? If so, with whom and for whom?
