NFL London series to include Dolphins in 2014

The Miami Dolphins are heading east next year to play in London for the second time. The Dolphins will play the Oakland Raiders.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Dolphins are heading back to London during next year's three game series for the NFL in the United Kingdom. The Dolphins will face the Oakland Raiders in Wembley Stadium in 2014, the league announced ahead of this weekend's San Francisco 49ers versus Jacksonville Jaguars game in London.

The Raiders will be the "home" team during the game, meaning the Dolphins will still play eight games at Sun Life Stadium next year.

The league will hold three regular season games in the United Kingdom for the first time, with the Dolphins and Raiders joined by the Dallas Cowboys facing the Jaguars and the Atlanta Falcons taking on the Detroit Lions. The Dolphins are the only team among the six to have previously played in London, losing to the New York Giants in the 2007 debut of the London series.

The specific date for the game has not been set.
