Monday Night Football this week sees the Indianapolis Colts travel cross country to San Diego to take on the Chargers. The Colts come in to the game at 4 and 1 after a win over the Seahawks. The Chargers have struggled on the season going 2 and 3 including a loss last week to the Raiders despite Philip Rivers having a very solid season up to this point.

The Chargers come in to the week with the fifth rated passing game based on yardage and have five different receivers with over 200 yards receiving on the season. Philip Rivers has 1,610 yards and 13 TD's in five games and became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for 400 yards or more in three consecutive games last week. They will go head to head with a Colts defense that is ranked 6th against the pass, also having picked off 7 passes. Indy linebacker Robert Mathis leads the NFL in sacks with 9.5 in 5 games.

On defense the Chargers are giving up 117.2 yards rushing per game. The Colts are ranked 4th in rushing and will feature former Browns first round pick, running back Trent Richardson. Richardson was traded for earlier in the season to help sure up the Colts running attack. Colts starting quarterback Andrew Luck is proving to be the real deal in his sophomore season in the NFL. Luck has his completion percentage up to 62.2% after completing 54.1% in his rookie campaign.
