The Phinsider Community mock draft returns today with our sixth set of eight picks. Today, we continue into the heart of the second round, with picks 41-49.

41. Buffalo Bills

Tyler Eifert

TE

6'6"

251

Notre Dame

GM: South Florida Fan

Although it's a huge surprise Eifert fell this far (hint, hint to pick 34 above), the Bills are ecstatic to steal him with the 41st pick in round 2. Eifert is the best player available on the Bill's board at this point in the draft. Scott Chandler is solid but this is an upgrade at the position that the Bills won't pass up. The golden domed tight ends combination of blocking skills and receiving skills will provide much needed support to whoever the Bill's end up putting under center for the upcoming NFL season.

42. Miami Dolphins

Terron Armstead

OT

Ark Pine-Bluff

GM: bacattack51

Biggest need on the team currently, and a perfect fit for Philbin's mold of athletic lineman. Armstead's athleticism is off the charts for a 300+ lb lineman, and while he is raw, has immense potential. Very light on his feet, good at pulling which is perfect for our offense, and solid in pass pro. Will have many areas to develop but I feel is a better prospect than Jonathan Martin was in 2012

43. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Alex Okafor

DE

6'4"

264

Texas

GM: pHiN_gAtOr

The Bucs could very well trade away the number 43 pick and others to the New York Jets for Jets corner Darrell Revis. If the Bucs and Jets can't come to terms with the trade, then the Bucs will focus on a pass rusher in the 2nd.

The Bucs lost DE Michael Bennett to free agency. Tampa needs to replace their best pass rusher. What better pick than Alex Okafor.

44. Carolina Panthers

Stedman Bailey

WR

5'10"

193

West Virginia

GM: cubman987

The Panthers can use some help for Cam Newton on offense, and with Steve Smith getting up there in age, Stedman Bailey is a good pick for the Panthers in the second round. Bailey had a solid combine and had a great season last year for West Virginia., with 114 receptions for 1,622 yards and 25 touchdowns Because of his size, he will probably be used as a slot receiver which is becoming a more important need in today's NFL. Bailey has some explosiveness and an ability to move the chains, which could provide Cam Newton with a solid option in the passing game for years to come.

45. San Diego Chargers

Jesse Williams

DT

6'3"

323

Alabama

GM: crableg

After addressing the offensive line in the first round with Jonathan Cooper, the Chargers should look to improve their defense in round 2. Defensive line is a need and Williams is one of the best players available for the 3-4 scheme San Diego runs. Williams was a beast in college, and should transition nicely to the pro game.

38. St. Louis Rams

Barrett Jones

C

6'4"

306

Alabama

The Rams currently have Scott Wells as their top center. He is scheduled to make $24 million over the next three seasons, and was injured last season. If he cannot stay healthy this year, the Rams could be looking to part ways with him.

Adding Jones as a backup to Wells, covering themselves in case of another injury, makes a ton of sense here. Jones will likely move to guard to get playing time this year, before possibly moving back to center next year.

47. Dallas Cowboys

Kyle Long

G

6'6"

313

Oregon

GM: TheDiazFallacy

Picking a safety in the 1st meant having to ignore a definite need on the offensive line. That turned out well, considering only one offensive lineman was drafted after pick #18. This selection not only meets a need, but has good value. There are some questions surrounding Kyle Long, but he has plenty of upside and should be able to contribute immediately.

48. Pittsburgh Steelers

Quinton Patton

WR

6'0"

204

Louisiana Tech

After going OL in the first round, the team adds a solid option at WR. They have talent, but could use more due to one recievers off the field habits. This is BPA, and even though Corner is another option, even greater value can be had in the third round.
