The picks took a dramatic shift in this database, with free agency, and the Miami Dolphins' signing of Mike Wallace and Brandon Gibson, shifting people away from first round wide receiver picks for the team. Two weeks ago, Database 7 had Cordarrelle Patterson as the favorite at 30%. We now see cornerback Xavier Rhodes in the top spot, with the highest percentage of picks in any of the database updates this year.

Dropping out of this week's picks were DeAndre Hopkins, Star Lotulelei, and Kenny Vaccaro. Rhodes was the biggest gainer, while Patterson fell the most. Chance Warmack, Dee Milliner, and Johnthan Banks all entered, or re-entered, the first round picks for Miami.

Looking at the first round picks by position we, obviously, find the same swing from the players:

Last time, the database had 45% of the picks showing Miami taking a wide receiver with cornerback second with 17% of the projections. This time, we see cornerback taking nearly half the mock drafts, with wide receiver falling to just over a quarter.
