The first half of the Miami Dolphins' first preseason game looked exactly like the first preseason game. The first team offense was not sharp at all, and the first team defense let Dan Orlovsky drive down and score on them. The best play of the first half came on a muffed punt recovery by Jason Trusnik.
But, there's some hope still. After a three and out, featuring two running plays from the Dolphins, and one incomplete pass, Trusnik recovered the punt, and Ryan Tannehill has the team moving. He is not quite lighting the world on fire, but he has looked sharper than Matt Moore in his two drives compared to Moore.
The Dolphins will kick off to start the second half, and will be looking to climb out of the 14-0 hole they have dug for themselves at this point.
