Miami Dolphins Starting Quarterback Poll

Can rookie Ryan Tannehill make a leap forward in the preseason and claim the starter's role?
Can rookie Ryan Tannehill make a leap forward in the preseason and claim the starter's role?

We are a little over three weeks away from the start of the Miami Dolphins' 2012 training camp, and the quarterback position is still the most publicized position battle for the team. Reports are coming out now that free agent acquisition David Garrard is in position to take the starter's slot on the depth chart when the season starts, but last year's starter Matt Moore, and rookie Ryan Tannehill have not been ruled out as of yet.

Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin has stated that he would ideally decide on the starting quarterback after the second preseason game, which would mean the decision will be made sometime after the August 17 matchup at the Carolina Panthers. The Dolphins play the Atlanta Falcons in the week three preseason game on August 24.

But, before we get there, let's take a look at the fan's view. Who do you think will win the starter's job? Will it really go to Garrard with his apparent early lead? Will Moore reclaim the position that was his after Chad Henne's injury last season? Will rookie Tannehill make a leap forward in training camp and the preseason games?

Vote in the poll, and, as always, discuss in the comments.
