The Miami Dolphins officially open their 2012 training camp this morning when players report at 8am Eastern. However, one notable player will be missing from the group as of now. The Dolphins' first round draft pick, quarterback Ryan Tannehill, has yet to sign his contract. Tannehill is the lone remaining rookie for Miami to sign - as well as being the final rookie in the AFC East unsigned.

Maybe defensive end Cameron Wake best expressed the sentiment of training camp being here:

On Thursday, the Dolphins will put all of the players through physicals for the first three hours of the day. Then, every player will have to conduct a conditioning test beginning at 11:30am - every player will be required to run 10 sprints from one side of the field to the other and back. Each sprint has to be completed in under 17 seconds, and the player can only rest for about 45 seconds between each repetition.

The first real practice for the Dolphins will take place on Friday morning, beginning at 8am. The practice will be open to the public, but not until 8:40am.

Check back later today for a full run down of all the public accessible practices for the Dolphins. And, of course, we will keep you up to date on all the activity throughout training camp.
