Former Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown has found a new team, after spending one unsuccessful year with the Philadelphia Eagles. Brown will be used as a backup to Chargers running back Ryan Matthews, who, according to SI.com's Peter King, reminds coach Norv Turner of Ricky Williams.
Of course, Brown shared the backfield in Miami with Williams.
Brown, who was drafted second overall in 2005 by the Dolphins, will most likely be used in a third-down and passing situtation type role, making use of his good hands. Brown also served as the trigger man for the Dolphins' Wildcat offense from 2008 to 2010, if the Chargers choose to add that role to him in San Diego.
