As the NFL Network has been working their way through the Top 100 players in the league, as voted upon by the players themselves, FoxSports.com was not going to be outdone. They have put together their own list of the top players in the league, and their 41st ranked player is none other than All Pro left tackle Jake Long.

"An athletic freak for a guy his size, Jake Long has lived up to his No. 1 overall draft status from 2008," writes Fox Sports. "Long, 6-foot-7 and mobile, is tough to get around but can also drive defensive ends backwards. One of the big reasons the Dolphins' wildcat offense had as much success as it did a few years ago, he was the lead road paver for Daniel Thomas and Reggie Bush in 2011. He missed two games but was still a Pro Bowler. That tells you something."

While the NFL players ranked Long ahead of Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Long, Fox Sports placed Thomas as the 18th best player in the league, twenty-three places ahead of Long. Fox Sports also ranked guard Jahir Evans ahead of Long, with Evans claiming the 34th position on the count down, making Long the third ranked offensive lineman in the league.

With Long dealing with injuries throughout the 2011 season, a top three linemen ranking is an accomplishment. Do you think Long will rebound this year, and can he pass those two to claim the top lineman position in next year's Fox Sports rankings?
