Concluding the June approval ratings post, we reach Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin. Obviously, Philbin is a rookie head coach, with no game experience to base our approval ratings on, but this will give us a base line to see what happens when we reach the season.
And, at least this month, we have some practice news to use to judge Philbin.
You can use the links above to get back to the Jeff Ireland and Stephen Ross posts, if you haven't voted in those yet.
Last month, Philbin received the highest of the three approval ratings, with an 82% approval, with 16% not sure. In fact, he actually had a 0% disapproval rating, with just 5 votes. But, that simply reflects the fact that there really is not a lot to go by in approving or disapproving of Philbin's performance right now - he hasn't coached a game. He says the right things, practices seems to be going well, and the players seem to like their new head coach, but, really, how is approval rating fluctuates throughout the season will be the interesting thing to watch.
