The Miami Dolphins signed their second-round draft pick, Stanford right tackle Jonathan Martin, to a four-year contract on Tuesday, according to Ben Volin of The Palm Beach Post. The deal is worth a reported $5 million in addition to a $1.9 million signing bonus.
Widely considered to be the draft's third-best offensive tackle behind USC's Matt Kalil and Iowa's Riley Reiff, Martin was taken by the Dolphins with their No. 42 overall selection during last month's draft. He now becomes their fourth of nine draft picks to sign thus far.
The 6-foot- 5 Martin was a two-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection in 2011 and 2010 after protecting Andrew Luck's blind side.
