The NFL Players Assocation are hosting the NFL Rookie Premiere even this week in Los Angeles. The week is a chance for the NFL and NFLPA to talk to some of the up-and-coming stars drafted in last month's selection meeting, as well as a chance for the media to get some access to the rookies. Included for the Miami Dolphins are quarterback Ryan Tannehill, tight end Michael Egnew, and running back Lamar Miller.
One of the highlights for today's events are a flag football game tonight at UCLA's North Athletic Field. The game will feature several of the rookies, as well as former NFL players and celebreties. For the Dolphins, that means Tannehill will be playing quarterback.
The game will also feature Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Trent Richardson, Justin Blackmon, Michael Flyod, Brandon Weeden, Doug Martin, David Wilson, Nick Toon and LaMichael James. Former players expected to play include Super Bowl Champions Roger Craig, Willie McGinest, Corey Dillon, and Antonio Freeman, along with Pro Bowlers Jevon Kearse, Eddie George, Ahman Green, Jeff Blake, and Ken O'Brein, as well as JJ Stokes and Jesse Palmer. Current players participating in the game include Felix Jones and DeSean Jackson.
The game will also include celebreties such as Donald Faison, Sugar Shane Mosely, Michael Rapport, Keith Robinson, Toccara Jones, Seba Johnson, and Columbus Short.
The game will take place from 5 - 8pm, Pacific Time, and SB Nation will be there to cover the action.
