The Miami Dolphins added outside linebacker Josh Kaddu in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, looking to add a speedy player who can rush the passer, as well as chase down running backs. Projected as a third or fourth round draft choice, Kaddu comes to the NFL after being a captain for the Oregon Ducks last year, finishing the season with 47 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, and a first team PAC-12 recognition.
What he brings: Kaddu has good straight-line speed, but he's a little tight changing directions and needs to get stronger at the point of attack.
Bucky Brooks' take: Kaddu is an athletic linebacker with speed and quickness. He excels in a "run and chase" scheme that allows him to use his speed to harass running backs at the second level.
What do you think of Kaddu's selection?
