The Miami Dolphins decided to bolster their LB core in the 5th round by selecting Josh Kaddu out of Oregon. He's a 6'3" 240 lb. missile that can play OLB in a 4-3 or a 3-4 front. He's got good speed and size for the position. He's an explosive player and a hard hitter. He's a developmental player that can become a force if brought along properly.
THIS SEASON:
Kaddu will make his mark as a special teams player and will see some time as an OLB in the 4-3 front and possibly an ILB in a 3-4 front.. He will also be used in sub packages as a blitzer. He will used as a coverage LB in certain packages as well. If developed properly, he'll end up as a starting OLB in a 4-3. If he puts on some weight, he could develop into a 3-4 OLB.
