So as many of you know Saturdays have become designated as the music based theme of the week. With that in mind this weeks subject comes from Josh aka Tunaflipper. Anyone that has spent any amount of time on this site knows that Tuna has an unhealthy love of Orioles baseball and of course all things Beatles. With that in mind the question of the night what is your all time favorite Beatles tune and who is your favorite Beatle. More specifically, who's music after their break up do you prefer?

My easy choice for that is the work of Lennon. Others of course love McCartney and his solo work or his work with his band Wings. George Harrison also has many fans (my second favorite) for his solo work or his work with the super group The Traveling Wilburys (Harrison, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and Jeff Lynn). For those of you that do not set your sights too high when it comes to your former Beatles there is also Ringo Starr who besides his stellar work in the classic film Caveman (How do you do a sarcasm box here?) also had a solo career and his band Ringo Starr & His All Star Band.

While I poke fun at Starr his "All Star Band" has had past and current members that are a who's who of music. The list of the many musicians that have been a part of his band is a mile long as there have to date been 12 different line ups of his traveling musical circus. Despite being a band that has never put out any original material go and see them if you ever get the chance. You will get the opportunity to see many musical legends at one time playing all of their various hits together.

RIP John & George. Your contribution's to music and the wold will never be forgotten.

So tell us what is your favorite Beatle and or Beatles tune of all time!
