Monday Night Random Live Thread:Favorite Director Of All Time Edition

Well after some time off we are back to some of our topic based posts and Monday is movies night. With that in mind tonight's question is who is your all time favorite director?

Mine is Martin Scorsese who has directed such films as Mean Streets, Taxi Drive, Raging Bull, The Color Of Money, Goodfellas, Cape Fear, The Grifters, Casino, Gangs Of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island and Hugo as well as many documentaries like The Last Waltz, No Direction Home:Bob Dylan, Shine A Light (Rolling Stones) and George Harrison Living in the Material World.

As always remember this is an open thread and thus any subject is open to discussion outside of religion or politics.
