Friday Night Random Live Thread: Victory Of The Week Vol. 2

Well that's another week in the books. Hopefully everyone here had a good one and accomplished something this week. I personally have been super busy for a change.

So last week Mosul started our new Friday night live thread series (borrowed from Arrowhead Pride) "Victory Of The Week". Basically the idea is that you come and tell us about your personal victory of the week. It could be huge or something small like mine.

Well mine was small and huge at the same time. I was told by one shop that I needed $1,500 worth of work to my car. So I decided to drive it an hour away to a shop near where I used to live. I had a buddy that lived in the area come and pick me up and we went to lunch. An hour later the shop called. It was just a switch that cost me $68 to replace. Man nothing is more valuable then an honest service professional! Now that I think about it that was HUGE for me as money is a bit tight right now.
