Brian Ferentz, the tight ends coach for the
New England Patriots, is joining his father, head coach Kirk Ferentz, at the University of Iowa. The younger Ferentz will serve as the offensive coordinator for the Hawkeyes, filling the spot vacated by Ken O'Keefe this offseason.
O'Keefe had served as the Iowa for 13-seasons before leaving to become the Miami Dolphins' wide receivers coach this year.
So, not only did the Dolphins add O'Keefe, they also hurt the Patriots in the process. This move just became even better for the Dolphins.
