The Miami Dolphins trail the New England Patriots 21-0, with their second player heading to the locker room due to an injury. Tight end Anthony Fasano was hit in the head on a reception during Miami's one drive deep into New England territory thus far in the game.

Fasano was given preliminary tests on the sideline for a possible concussion, and has now been escorted to the locker room. He joins cornerback Dimitri Patterson as players who have made the trip to the lockerroom on the day. Patterson appeared to have a leg injury in the first half.

The Dolphins also had to check quarterback Ryan Tannehill on the sideline during the third quarter after he staggered off the field following a sack. However, Tannehill did not miss a play, returning to start the next Miami drive.

[UPDATE:] It appears linebacker Kevin Burnett has been ruled out of the game with a concussion. Jonathan Freeny has replaced Burnett.
