The Miami Dolphins are hosting the Buffalo Bills today. Here is a look at the inactive players for both teams.
Buffalo Bills: DE Mark Anderson, WR Marcus Easley, QB Tarvaris Jackson, DT Jay Ross, T Chris Scott, LB Chris White, G Keith Williams
Miami Dolphins: WR Davone Bess, T Patrick Brown, CB Nolan Carroll, QB Pat Devlin, TE Kyle Miller, OLB Koa Misi, DT Kheestone Randall
Obviously, the name not on the list that everyone will notice is tight end Michael Egnew. The Dolphins' third round draft pick this past April will be active for the first time in his NFL career. Egnew has admitted that he has struggled to learn how to block, something they never asked him, or any tight end, to do at Missouri. Many fans have already declared Egnew a bust, given his draft status and his inability to see playing time. But, with Charles Clay injured now, it appears that Egnew will be available to make his debut today.
The other Dolphins name that is is good to see not on the list is wide receiver Brian Hartline, who was "questionable" coming into the game. With Davone Bess listed as out, the Dolphins need Hartline on the field to give rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill a target with whom he is comfortable.
