Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins: What to Watch For

The Miami Dolphins take on the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday. Here are some of the things that we think you should watch. But, of course, we also want to hear, what are you watching for?

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

While you guys are watching the game on Sunday, I will be having early Christmas dinner and exchanging our gifts. So I doubt I'll be able to listen to the game.

Even though I can't listen, I still will be looking for stuff after the game.

Here are some things I'm looking for:

Tannehill's consistency

Last week against Jacksonville, Tannehill had his best game as a pro. This performance came after weeks of constantly hitting the rookie wall.

If Ryan Tannehill is our future, the coaching staff and fans need to see consistency out of the young quarterback. If Tannehill can't remain consistent, we could be looking at a few years of a Mark Sanchez situation.

Egnew's time to shine!

Charles Clay went on injured reserve earlier this week. We lost our tight end that was showing promise in this new offense. Although he started out slow, Clay really came on in the last few weeks.

Someone has to step up at the tight end position and I think it's Michael Egnew's time. Considered a bust among Dolphin fans this injury to Clay is the best thing that could happen to Egnew.

Egnew hasn't been active one game this season. I think that changes this week. I don't think he'll see many plays but I could be wrong.

Don't let the Bills bring a broom!

I don't think the Bills will win this game. They are on the road and didn't do too good against us last time. We should have won that last game. I don't think the Bills will sweep us this year.

Who needs to step up?

Sean Smith. The man who celebrates after every incompletion has been so inconsistent this year. He started out strong but hasn't really stayed consistent.

Someone needs to cover Stevie Johnson or he'll have field day against us. Smith will most likely be on Johnson with help from Reshad Jones and Chris Clemons.

Smith's contract is up after this year. Depending on his last 2 games, I'm still on the fence on whether we should bring him back or not. Look for us to draft some corners in the draft.

What are you watching for?

But most importantly, what are you guys watching for?
