The Miami Dolphins find themselves down 7-0 against the New England Patriots after a rough start to the game. Miami got the ball to open the half, but failed to gain a first down and attempted to punt the ball away. Punter Brandon Fields could not hold the snap, bobbling the ball off the ground before being brought down at the Miami 12-yard line.
From there, the Patriots drove in for the score, despite a 10-yard holding penalty.
As New England's Stevan Ridley bounced outside for a four yard touchdown run, Miami defensive tackle Randy Starks attempted to make the tackle, jumping over the line of scrimmage. Starks fell awkwardly, and was escorted off the field holding his right arm.
The Dolphins will get the ball back with about 12 minutes to go in the first quarter, looking to have better success against the New England defense on this possession.
