Dolphins Defensive Snap Count vs. Jaguars

On Monday, we looked at the offensive snap counts for the Miami Dolphins after their Week 15 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Today, we turn our attention to the defense.

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Dolphins beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-3 on Sunday, putting together a solid team effort for the entire 60 minutes. The offense moved the ball well all day, while the defense stopped the Jaguars on fourth down three different times within the red zone, holding Jacksonville to just an opening drive field goal.

The Dolphins were on defense for 57 snaps Sunday. Here's the breakdown, by position group:

Thoughts:
Olivier Vernon's snap count went up some from his season average this week, but otherwise, nothing overly noteworthy among the defensive linemen.
