Last Sunday, the Miami Dolphins dropped their fourth game of the season, losing 23-20 to the Indianapolis Colts. However, there were some noteworthy individual performances from the Dolphins worthy of recognition.
On Tuesday, we held a vote with readers able to choose from five nominees for this week's game ball. Our nominees were
Ryan Tannehill - 22-for-38, 290 yards, 1 touchdown, 90.9 passer rating
Brian Hartline - 8 receptions, 107 yards
Nolan Carroll - 10 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 3 passes defensed
Brandon Fields - 4 punts, 53.3 yards per kick average, 2 inside 20, long 60
Olivier Vernon - 2 tackles, 1 QB hit, FG Block
After the vote, Ryan Tannehill easily claimed his first game ball of the year, after finishing second multiple times. The Miami rookie quarterback received 71% of the vote this week.
