An AFC East Review: Week 9

Each week we take a look around at the other AFC East games. Let's take a look to see what the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and New York Jets did.

Week 9 is in the books and the season is half way over. The Miami Dolphins are still in second, but took a step back in their play against the Colts. Two AFC East teams were on a bye this week, so this post is going to be short and sweet.

Let's take a look at what the other AFC East teams did this weekend:

BUFFALO BILLS

The Buffalo Bills took on the Houston Texans this weekend. The Bills ended up losing, but it was closer than I thought it would have been. They ended up losing 21 - 9. I thought the Texans were going to run up the score on the Bills, guess I was wrong.

As you can tell by the score, the Bills did not score a single touchdown. They settled for 3 Ryan Lindell field goals.

Ryan Fitzpatrick went 25/38 and 239 yards. No touchdowns or interceptions.

C.J. Spiller ran 6 times for 39 yards. A long of 22. Fred Jackson ran 6 times also for 21 yards. A long of 13.

The Bills leading receiver was Donald Jones. He had 6 catches for 65 yards. Scott Chandler had 3 catches for 51 yards.

A terrible game for the Bills.

The Bills take on the New England Patriots next weekend.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

The New England Patriots were on their bye week. They play the Buffalo Bills next.

NEW YORK JETS

The New York Jets were also on their bye week. They play the Seattle Seahawks next.

Current AFC East Standings:

Patriots (5-3)
Dolphins (4-4)
Jets (3-5)
Bills(3-5)
