An AFC East Review: Week 12

Each week we take a look around at the other AFC East games. Let's take a look to see what the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and New York Jets did.

Week 12 is in the books. Our Miami Dolphins broke their 3 game losing streak against the Seattle Seahawks. But let's not forget about the AFC East teams.

Let's take a look at what the other AFC East teams did this weekend:

BUFFALO BILLS

The Buffalo Bills lost this weekend to the Indianapolis Colts 20-13.

Ryan Fitzpatrick went 17/33, 180 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception. I still don't think he is a "franchise" quarterback. If I'm the Bills, I'd look in the draft to find your franchise guy. But what do I know?

C.J. Spiller, helped fantasy owners, by going 147 yards on 14. However, he did not have a touchdown. Fred Jackson had 6 carries for 16 yards. These two make a great duo. But it appears the Bills are going to move forward with Spiller as the main back.

Stevie Johnson led the team in receptions with 6 and yards with 106. Scott Chandler had 2 receptions for 26 yards. The recipient of Fitzpatrick's touchdown was tight end, Lee Smith on a one yard pass.

The Bills take on the Jacksonville Jaguars next. They should be used to Chad Henne.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS & NEW YORK JETS

I'm just going to combine the two considering they played each other. The New England Patriots and New York Jets played on Thanksgiving Night. The Patriots were really thankful, they won 49 - 19.

Both quarterbacks had very good stats. Tom Brady went 18/28, 323 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Mark Sanchez went 26/36, 301 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception. Both were fairly similar in completion and yards.

Steven Ridley had 21 carries for 97 yards and a touchdown. Shonn Greene had 14 carries for 71 yards. Ridley outperformed Greene in the stats.

Heading into the game, a lot of people around the league, believe Brady would miss Rob Gronkowski. That was a lie.

Wes Welker led the team in reception with 7 for 71 yards and a touchdown. Julian Edelman had 2 catches for 64 yards and a touchdown. Edelman also had a fumble recovery for a touchdown on special teams.

Jeremy Kerley had 7 receptions for 86 yards. Dustin Keller had 5 for 64 yards and recorded a touchdown.

The Patriots take on the Dolphins next, while the Jets play the Arizona Cardinals.
